SBR BINGO Is Back!

SBR held its first in-office BINGO on May 18, 2026. It was such a success that we will be hosting the next BINGO on June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

SBR To Hold Women’s Self Defense Class

Did you know individuals with disabilities are more likely to be the victim of a violent crime?

We want to make sure our individuals are armed with the tools to stay safe while out in the community. We will be offering a self-defense class at the SBR Office on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Space is limited, so register to hold your spot.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.

Mental Health Drop-In Day

On Thursday, May 21, SBR’s Clinical Services Department held a Mental Health Drop-In Day in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.

Employees wore green for Mental Health Awareness and were greeted with a calming environment where they could take part in activities designed to help satisfy their senses.

Seated Zumba Session
Get ready to move, groove, and bring your best energy! We are thrilled to invite you to a fun, high-energy Seated Zumba Session designed for all fitness and mobility levels!

The session will be held in person and via Virtual Meeting on June 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Equipment: A sturdy, comfortable chair.
Attire: Clothing and sneakers that allow you to move freely.
No prior dance or fitness experience is required—just come as you are and get ready to have a fantastic time with the SBR community.

FIFA Fan Fest and Travel Disruptions

The city is gearing up to host the FIFA World CupFIFA Fan Fest will take place at Lemon Hill throughout June and July. The event is free; however, prior ticket registration is required. If you are interested in joining the festivities, registration and more information can be found here.

Please be aware that parking and traffic in the area will be disrupted. Sedgley, Poplar, and Lemon Hill Drives are closed to vehicles, and Waterworks Drive is closed daily beginning at 10:00 AM.

During this time, public transportation is encouraged for travel to and from the area.
