President

Co-founder of SBR, Linda brings more than 30 years of organizational talent and management experience with an advocate’s focus. Linda possesses a keen eye for detail and the vision to coordinate the multitude of projects that maintain quality. Besides, someone has to keep everyone on track to lead the over 350 employees of SBR and incorporate their support needs into the agency’s strategic plan.  She is the voice of reason and the driving force to ensure that our mission of Respect, Caring, and Knowledge permeates all decisions and actions.

Co-founder of SBR, Frank’s skill as a Behavior Specialist created the vision that evolved into the organization that SBR is today. Frank brings his uniquely humorous style to the group. Over 40 years of working with, listening to, and joining with individuals and their families has shaped his philosophy, direction, and commitment to crafting meaningful support for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, co-occurring disorders, and Autism.

Jennifer Fenton

CEO

Jenn's commitment to advocating for people with disabilities stems from her own experience attending speech therapy as a child. This passion has defined her career, from high school through earning her master’s degree in Human Services Administration, consistently working to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/Autism (IDD/A).

Her extensive background includes diverse roles, from Direct Support Professional (DSP) to Director of Human Resources, and managerial positions such as Residential Manager/Director and Professional Development Trainer. She has gained experience in a variety of settings, including Residential, Lifesharing, Day Program, Employment, and Community support. Jenn is driven by her belief in the power of positivity and that everyone deserves the opportunity to live their best life.

Nina-Parker

Dr. Nina Parker

Executive Director, Clinical Services

Nina is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of diverse clinical experience. Her work has focused on supporting adults and children with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and co-occurring mental health disorders in various settings. A key part of her practice includes conducting psychological evaluations for entry into the Intellectual Disability system and for updated assessments of current functioning levels. Above all, Nina is passionate about providing meaningful, person-driven, and clinically responsible support by educating and collaborating with teams and families regarding a person’s diagnosis.

Paula-Grochowski

Paula Grochowski

Executive Director, Home and Community-Based Services

Paula has been a key figure in the growth and development of the SBR Home and Community-Based Services Department since its founding in 2004. Starting with support for just a few individuals, primarily with family-chosen staff under the new ID waivers, the department has expanded significantly and now serves over 300 individuals and their families. Today, Paula directs a team of managers and supervisors who coordinate and oversee more than 300 staff members. This large team provides essential in-home and community, companion, community participation, and respite supports.

Dionne-Bates

Dionne Bates

Director, Clinical Services

Dionne launched her career as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, working with children facing behavioral health challenges. Her passion for children inspired her to further pursue special education. After earning her master’s degree, she dedicated several years to serving as a Special Education Teacher within the Philadelphia School District. In her present capacity at SBR, she is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Behavior Support and Clinical Services Department. Furthermore, Dionne is a founding member of the Pennsylvania Association of Behavioral Specialists (PABS) and holds the designation of a Certified Supports Broker.

Kathleen-Smith

Kathleen Smith

Director, Residential Services

With over 25 years of experience in residential settings, Kathy is a dedicated leader focused on the well-being, personal satisfaction, and health of adults with IDD/A. Her extensive background includes work in community living, supported living, and Lifesharing models.

Holding degrees in Education and Special Education, Kathy previously worked as a job coach for adults with autism before transitioning to residential services.

Kathy currently spearheads the Home-Based Services team. She oversees three managers and a medical care coordinator, supporting over 70 direct support professionals. Her team provides services to 10 individuals in community living homes and 4 adults receiving 24/7 in-home and community services in private homes.

Sean-Pastor

Sean Pastor

Director, Home and Community-Based Services

Sean's journey at SBR began as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), a role he embraced while completing his Athletic Training degree at Temple University. It was here that he discovered a profound dedication to caring for people in a different, deeply personal way, moving beyond the traditional setting of the playing field.

His steadfast commitment to the individuals and families he supported quickly fueled his progression, leading him first to a supervisory role and then manager role within Family Services. As Director, Sean is eager to continue advancing the department with the same dedication and commitment that originally inspired him. He and his team are devoted to upholding the core values of Respect, Caring, and Knowledge while providing essential Home and Community Supports, Companion, and Respite services.
